Master Shield of Virginia and Maryland will be at the Parham Parade and Festival in Richmond, VA

Master Shield of Virginia and Maryland will be at the Parham Parade and Festival this weekend in Richmond, VA. And it will feature 392nd Army Band from Ft. Lee in the parade this year and hosting a Patriotic Concert by the Henrico County Concert Band at 3pm.

Who is Master Shield of Virginia?

Master Shield of Virginia and Maryland is your local MasterShield Gutter Protection dealer.  MasterShield is the next generation of microfiltration gutter guards from the same inventor who created LeafFilter more than 10 years ago.  New improvements and advancements in the technology allow you to pitch it with the roof so that it requires less maintenance from all the trees and pines often found around Richmond homes.

The parade will begin at 10:00am at Trinity Lutheran Church on Lansdown Road. It winds through our community and ends at Parham Road Baptist Church. This year’s parade includes the 392nd Army Band, the Wounded Warriors of VA with their sponsored dragster, the RIR pace car who will be giving away 2 tickets to the Fall Sprint Cup Race, the VCU Men’s Soccer Team, The Richmond Kickers Soccer team, Arena Racing USA race cars, the Peanut Characters from Kings Dominion and much more.

After the parade, you can enjoy food from local vendors. After lunch they will have a ceremony honoring the military and veterans. Following this ceremony they will reveal plans for the new sports complex and community park. They will have family games including soccer, basketball, kickball, volleyball and more. During the time of family games they will also offer the festival with a waterslide, dunk tank vehicles on display and a silent auction.  As you wander around, come find Master Shield of Virginia, we’ll have our booth with working water displays available for you to see.

At 3:00 they will close the festival and silent auction to enjoy a patriotic concert by the Henrico County Concert Band.

Parade Route

9:00am – 10:00 am – Staging for parade at Trinity Lutheran Church

10:00am – 12:00pm – Parade, ending at Parham Road Baptist Church

12:00pm - Picnic lunch. Bring picnic lunch, blanket and lawn chairs. Food will also be sold by local vendors.

1:00pm – 3:00pm - Fields will open for games. We will share our plans to build a community park and sports complex. We will be playing soccer, basketball, kickball, volleyball and much more! Come sign up to play and have a great family day playing sports with neighbors and friends. Our Silent Auction will begin at 1:00 and close at 3:00pm.

3:00pm – Games end. Join us inside for a patriotic concert by the Henrico County Concert Band.

4:00pm – Concert ends and Silent Auction items can be picked up.
